Ashley is passionate about spreading the good news of helping mentor children and knows B.A.M. is an asset to the community because they help children reach their potential by providing opportunities. All kids want is an opportunity.
Favorite Fundraiser: B.A.M. Bowlathon at the Rose Bowl (Formerly known as Bowl for Kids Sake). The Bowlathon is such a massive event in the community and the amount of support is amazing! It is an all ages event and loaded with fun door prizes!
Ashley is a member of Tri- Kappa and the Board President of Henry Township. She is happily married to Aaron and has four children- Kayla, Trevor, Will, and Nick. She loves to lunch with board members and Zumba at the Y!
Casey Knight has been with BAM (formerly known as Big Brothers Big Sisters) for 11 years. She was inspired to get involved because in high school she felt drawn to work with the youth- she believes everyone needs a mentor!
Casey loves being involved in her community and helping young people. She loves what mentors can accomplish with kids, and the impact that the kids have on the volunteers as well. They truly become life-long friends!
Favorite Fundraiser: Nite Lite Golf Tournament. Everything starts after the sun goes down, and all you can see are glow in the dark markers to tee off and where the flags & holes are, necklaces and golf balls on the golf course. There can be up to 20 teams of 4 and is almost always a waiting list. It's a great night, serving a great cause and all proceeds stay in Henry County.
Casey is very involved in her church, PTO, and New Castle/Henry County Kiwanis club. She has been married to Cory for 13 years and they have one boy and one girl, Cody and Whitney. In Casey’s free time she enjoys swimming, biking and walking.
